Scarecrow Sauvignon Blanc 2008 -
Granny smith apple, kiwi fruits and citrus blossoms make an enchanting perfumed nose. The palate also delivers with intense tropical fruits providing excellent fruit weight while nuisances of box hedge, cut grass and minerals provide interest and complexity. The cool vineyard site also allows good retention of natural acidity that is expressed in the minerality and persistence of flavour.
K1 Silver Label Semillon Viognier 2008 - This contemporary blend combines Viognier with cool climate early picked Semillon. The Viognier adds generosity and complexity to the crisp, fresh Semillon. The resultant wine has a tangy citrus fruit and orange blossum with hints of tropical fruit, including pineapple and melon. The palate displays crisp acidity and lemon zest from the Semillon and juicy fresh apricots from the Viognier.
Handcrafted Salmon NV - Pinot Noir sourced from the Adelaide Hills and Limestone Coast present a bouquet of strawberry and red apple whilst Limestone Coast Chardonnay provides a crisp citrus finish. The outcome, a NV Sparkling with the best of two regions and no shortage of complexity.
Sparkling Pure White 2009 - The wine is light in colour with a green tinge to the edge
The nose shows aromas of lemon and grapefruit complexed by toasty yeasty characters. The palate is clean with fresh natural acidity and lively bubbles.
Genders Chardonnay 2008 - The Genders Chardonnay is a straight varietal wine made from grapes grown on the McLaren Park vineyard. It has long fine flavours of honeydew, gently supported by the finest French oak.
Riesling 2008 - The wines colour is pale yellow.
Fresh lemon and lime lead the nose with stone fruit characters of nectarine and peach also apparent.
The palate is light and shows citrus at first which leads into a lingering pineapple finish. This wine shows refreshing acidity well balanced by some residual sugar.
Enoomah Bore Rose 2008 - A vibrant pink/red with aromas of fresh raspberries, strawberries, candy and confectionary notes. The palate is delicate and fruit driven with beautifully balanced acid and sweetness. The wine is fresh and vibrant and ideal as an aperitif or with fish, chicken or hearty vegetable dishes.
Handcrafted Sparkling Red NV -
A base of black forest cake kicks off the palate; kirsch, liquorice and truffle oil hint seductively at aged characters. This is spiked with black pepper and cinnamon and rounded off with gentle vanilla from partial French oak influence. Tactile tannins carry the depth of flavour onto the dry palate, with cleansing acid and dancing bubbles letting the flavours linger.
Genders 2003 Park Drive Shiraz Cabernet - The aroma is of freshly brushed boots, cinnamon, blackberry, soft and leathery. The palate is of juicy boysenberry and red currant, with a firmish structure. Half an hour of breathing is recommended for this wine. Due to the minimal handling in the production of this wine decanting is recommended. Food combinations would be a spicy steak (with coriander and black pepper), chicken cacciatore or possibly a really deluxe pizza.
Undercover Shiraz 2007 -
A complex array of fruits lift with ink like concentration, the palate delivers waves of vibrant Satsuma Plum, black cherries and beetroot that interplay with freshly laid asphalt and earth. Fine grain French oak tannins keep the wine on course to deliver a youthful and persistent finish. Decanting this wine before serving will assist the wine opening up for your immediate enjoyment and will reward your foresight in setting some aside for the next decade!
Understudy Cabernet Petit Verdot 2006 -
Pertaringa's Understudy Cabernet Petit Verdot has a deep crimson colour. A perfumed nose with violets and Turkish Delight particularly associated with Petit Verdot, underscored by blackcurrant and spice with earthy nuances. The palate indulges with luscious rich flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry and stewed rhubarb. A well structured wine rounded off by well integrated oak characters and supple tannins.
Shiraz Malbec 2005 - Deep red in colour this full bodied style was vintaged from Shiraz (68%) and Malbec (32%). The nose shows cherry and blackberry enhanced by well integrated spicy oak. The palate is full with firm fine tannins that linger while finishing with flavours of ripe berries and earthy characters.

Wine Description and Tasting Notes
K1 Gold Label Chardonnay 2007 -
The nose of the 2007 K1 Chardonnay plays an exotic harmony of macadamias, sandalwood, orange zest with notes of truffle and sage. The vibrant aromatics reveal further layers with a touch of warmth, including mango, white peach and honeydew melon.
Genders McLaren Park Shiraz 2001 - The nose displays earth, ripe red fruit scents, such as those of plum, and fresh mulberries with spicy notes of cinnamon, cumin, even a dash of tumeric. With breathing some chocolate notes appear, backed up by a little vanilla and cedar. The palate is plummy and warm, with great length and a velvety texture.This wine will show its best with a little breathing.
K1 Merlot 2006 - The 2006 K1 Merlot displays a lifted bouquet of damsons and black cherry, with savoury notes of toasted cashews and hints of middle eastern spice. These follow onto the palate which is rich, multilayered and mouthfilling. Silky tannins coat the palate enhancing the finish of this wine.
Cabernet Merlot 2009 (preservative free) - The wine’s colour is deep red with a purple edge.
On the nose flavours of mulberries, mint and spice combine with well integrated oak. The palate is full with firm fine tannins that linger while finishing with flavours of ripe berries and cedar.
Two Gentlemens Grenache 2007 -
Bright ruby in colour, it reveals luscious red fruits including cherries, strawberries and raspberries with delicate nuances of earthiness on the nose. The palate continues with these bright red fruit aromas, but underscored is a fine sensation of white peppery spice. This elegant and medium-bodied style with almost Pinot Noir like characters is immediately enjoyable as the tannin structure is soft. For all we know, this is one of the icon varieties grown in the McLaren Vale district and deservingly should receive a much bigger following - good for the ones who know!
Over The top Shiraz 2007 -
Fragrant black- / forest berries with hints of lavender and nutmeg on the nose, followed by layers of fruit including blackberries, plums and dried herbs underscored by savoury notes. The finale continues the harmonious elegance of this style and the pronounced tannin structure will ensure a long life. It's hard to resist drinking it immediately, but if you have the patience it will reward you. We recommend decanting the wine to encourage maximum drinking pleasure. Drink now until 2020.
